Celebrating Excellence Across Queensland’s Agricultural Shows
The Queensland Ag Shows Awards recognise the people, events and Show Societies that help keep Queensland’s agricultural show tradition strong.
Presented each year, the awards celebrate outstanding contributions to local communities, leadership within the show movement and a commitment to creating vibrant and welcoming agricultural shows across the state.
From dedicated volunteers and innovative programmes to successful events and long-standing community involvement, the awards shine a light on the people who bring shows to life.
The awards are presented at the Queensland Ag Shows Gala Dinner, held in Brisbane during the same weekend as the Queensland Ag Shows Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting each March.
Whether you’re part of a local Show Society, a volunteer, competitor or supporter, the awards are an opportunity to recognise the passion and effort that strengthens agricultural shows across Queensland.

How to Enter
To submit a nomination, please provide:
- A written submission of up to 1000 words addressing the award criteria
- A high-resolution photograph of the nominee or event (For event nominations, a promotional poster may be submitted instead)
